At Yacht Dapper, we take pride in producing high-quality, premium storage solutions designed for the marine and superyacht industry. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we are committed to handling returns and refunds fairly and professionally.

1. Returns Eligibility

You may request a return if:

  • The item was received damaged, defective, or incorrect
  • You received the wrong product compared to your order confirmation
  • You wish to return an unused product within the approved return timeframe

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Returned within 14 days of delivery
  • In unused condition
  • In the original packaging, including all clips, fasteners, and accessories
  • Free from damage, scratches, modifications, drilling, adhesive residue, or signs of installation

2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, and product integrity reasons, Yacht Dapper does not accept returns for:

  • Products that have been installed, used, modified, or altered
  • Products damaged due to incorrect installation, misuse, or negligence
  • Custom-made items, custom templates, or specially manufactured products
  • Clearance or discounted items (unless faulty)

3. Damaged or Faulty Products

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

To process the claim, we may require:

  • Clear photos of the product damage
  • Photos of the packaging (inside and outside)
  • Your order number and delivery details

Once verified, Yacht Dapper will offer one of the following options:

  • Replacement product shipped to you at no additional cost
  • Full refund (where replacement is not possible)

4. Incorrect Orders

If you receive an incorrect item, Yacht Dapper will cover the return shipping cost and ensure the correct item is sent to you as soon as possible.

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

5. Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind after ordering, we will gladly accept a return provided:

  • The item is unused and uninstalled
  • The return request is made within 14 days of delivery
  • The product is returned in original condition and packaging

Important:
In change-of-mind cases, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

6. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days via the original payment method.

7. Return Shipping Responsibility

Return shipping costs depend on the reason for the return:

Yacht Dapper covers return shipping if:

  • The product is faulty or damaged upon arrival
  • The wrong product was delivered

Customer covers return shipping if:

  • The return is due to change of mind
  • The product was ordered incorrectly by the customer

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured courier for returns, as Yacht Dapper cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

8. Restocking Fee

Yacht Dapper reserves the right to charge a reasonable restocking fee (up to 10%) if:

  • Returned items are missing packaging or accessories
  • Items require additional inspection, repackaging, or cleaning
  • The product is returned in a condition that prevents resale as new

If the product is returned in perfect condition, no restocking fee will apply.

9. Refunds for International Orders

International customers are responsible for any:

  • Customs duties
  • Taxes
  • Import fees
  • Return shipping fees

Yacht Dapper cannot refund duties or import charges paid to customs authorities.

Refunds will only apply to the cost of the returned product (excluding original shipping).

10. Exchanges

We are happy to exchange items where possible. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

If you would like to exchange for a different product, please contact us and we will guide you through the process.

11. How to Request a Return

Once approved, we will provide return instructions and the return shipping address.

12. Right to Refuse Returns

Yacht Dapper reserves the right to refuse a return or refund if:

  • The product has been installed, used, altered, or damaged after delivery
  • The return request falls outside the return period
  • The item is not returned in its original condition
